Clos Pons is located in Les Garrigues district in the south of the provence of Lleida in the towns of L’Albages and La Pobla de Cervoles.
The landscape is outlined by olive and almond trees and distinguished by its dry arid soils. The Set river is the most important river in the area originates in the heart of Serra de la Llena but most of the year it is dry due to the arid and continental climate.
The land and the climate are Clos Pon’s identity signs, born with the aim to express Les Garrigues sensory richness in every bottle. A low rainfall, extreme temperatures, rough land and poor organic soils defined by different mineral compositions represent the suitable setting to produce high quality wines.
