Produced from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Canaiolo and other red varietals, the wine is aged for six months or longer in oak casks. Once bottled during the second year, the wine is then aged in our temperature controlled cellars for a further 4/6 months before release. The wine has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections on aging. The bouquet is intense with classic red cherry and tobacco aromas with hints of violets. The finish is velvety, full bodied, well balanced with a juicy richness.
