Produced from Tempranillo 75%, Garnacha 10%, Mazuelo 15% with separate fermentation of each variety. Aged for 16 months in American and French oak casks of the Bordeaux type, with racking performed four times. Only released for sale when ready for drinking at its best. Intense cherry red colour. Aromas of oak ageing with hints of spices. Strong, good backbone, full- flavoured, with well integrated long-lasting tannins. Long and persistent finish.
91 Points – Wine Spectator Black cherry, liquorice, smoke, tobacco and tar notes mingle in this firm, lively red. Maturing now, but still shows balance and length. Still fresh, this brings you back for another sip. Drink now through 2016.
